A long table at Mama San works best when it is planned. We take groups across both floors: the dining room downstairs for a table that stays part of the room, the lounge upstairs when you want the space to yourselves.

Questions we are often asked
How many guests before we need a set menu?
Tables of up to nine book through the reservation form and order from the à la carte menu. From ten guests we ask the table to choose a set menu. It lets the kitchen send courses to everyone at once, and it keeps a long table from waiting while plates arrive in ones and twos.
What are the menu options for a group?
Four. A pre-order menu picked from the à la carte list, the group set menu, The Gathering at IDR 650,000++ per person with a complimentary bottle of spirits, or Feed Me, where the kitchen decides. Dietary requirements are settled before the menu is confirmed, so tell us early rather than on the night.
Can we have the venue to ourselves?
For more than thirty guests, or for an evening that needs the room to itself, the upstairs lounge can be taken privately and holds up to a hundred. Whole-venue hire is IDR 50,000,000++ for lunch and IDR 200,000,000++ for dinner.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit applies to every group booking and private event, unlike a standard table, which needs none. The amount and the schedule are confirmed with your quote.
What kind of occasions do you host?
Birthdays, company dinners, rehearsal dinners, wedding parties and the long lunches that turn into afternoons. The questions are usually the same — how long do we have the table, what happens with drinks, when do we confirm numbers — and the two pages below answer them.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can, particularly for a weekend or for high season. If the date is close or the party is large, message us on WhatsApp — it is the fastest way to reach the team that holds the diary.
